The Philippine Trench, which stretches off the coast of the island of Mindanao, is the deepest not only in the Pacific Ocean, but also in the world. Its depth is about 11 thousand meters.
The climate in the Philippines is mainly tropical, in places subequatorial and monsoon. The temperature on the coast is from 25 to 28 degrees, slightly cooler in the highlands. It rains from May to November in the Philippines. Typhoons periodically occur in the north of the country, and tsunamis are not uncommon here. About half of the Philippines is tropical rainforest.
Such Philippine islands as Borokay, Bohol, Corregior, Mindoro, Palawan, Cebu are rightfully considered the most beautiful on the planet. Almost all of them are surrounded by coral reefs. It is here that lovers of white beaches, surfing and diving come from all over the world.
The unique nature of the Philippines

Filipinos are freedom-loving people, most of them are Catholics (80%), there are also Muslims, Protestants and Buddhists.
The capital and largest city of the Philippines is Manila. It ranks first in the world in terms of population density. This is a picturesque place that brings together a variety of buildings. The most developed industrial sectors in the Philippines are: electronics, textiles, chemicals, woodworking. In addition, agriculture plays an important role for the country's economy. The main export product is coconut and various products based on it.
