But the cheapest type of accommodation is considered to be a guesthouse - only $ 5 per day, but for this money you will only be offered a bed in a dormitory with one toilet and a bathroom for several rooms. As in any resort in the world, in Bali it is not worth renting an apartment on the first line from the sea - it is both expensive and noisy because of the nightlife.
Food. The choice of cafes, restaurants and canteens is incredible. The prices there are quite low, but the variety of dishes is not surprising. You can cook yourself if you live in a bungalow. The cost will come out almost the same. Products should be purchased in Bali markets. First, there is a rich variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as seafood. And, secondly, prices in the markets are an order of magnitude lower than in stores, and besides, you can bargain.
Rest. Visiting local attractions does not hit the traveler's pocket too hard. Many churches are allowed in completely free of charge, they ask only for a small donation, who does not mind how much. Water parks, attractions and other recreational facilities will cost a tourist $ 3-5 per hour, and the choice of entertainment is very rich.
Moving around the country. Naturally, the cheapest way to get around the country is by public transport. But this is not very convenient. Overcrowded stuffy buses and minibuses, as well as the local noisy population, do not bring pleasure on such trips. It is best to rent a moped, which will cost a tourist $ 3-5 per day. Thanks to such transport, you can maneuver and easily move in traffic jams. There is another similar option, but even cheaper - renting a bike. On it you can easily get to any place, see the surroundings and save on excursions.
As you can see, the biggest expenses in Bali will be only air travel. You can save a lot on housing, and everything else in this country will be quite cheap for a tourist.
