The main beaches are located in North and South Goa, Central is notable for nature reserves, architectural monuments and natural beauty in the interior of the mainland.
The coast of North Goa is slightly less civilized than the South. There are more "wild" beaches here than in South Goa with few tourists. This is a territory for those who are tired of cities and noise, do not require expensive services and want to find a quiet corner to relax.
Arambol
Sixteen kilometers of coastline equipped for recreation for all tastes. Nightlife venues, daytime and evening dance and yoga schools are interspersed with quiet areas. It has excellent, clean sand and a gentle entrance to the sea.
There is a lake with healing mud nearby. The long distance allows tourists, if they wish, to participate in noisy entertainment or choose a quiet, measured rest, without intersecting and not interfering with each other.
Mandrem
The beach is located a little south of Arambol and is family-oriented. There are fewer opportunities to go shopping or party all night than in Arambol, so there are fewer tourists. Picturesque, quiet, uncrowded place.
Morjim
The coast is aimed at Russian-speaking tourists and immigrants from Russia. The place where Russian DJs come to tour, and the staff of the establishments are either immigrants from Russia, or understand Russian. Entertainment is designed for young people and young families.
The beach attracts with the absence of a language barrier and the beauty of nature. The disadvantages are overpriced. Lovers of exotic vacation may not like the dominance of compatriots.
Vagator
The beach next to Morjim in the south of the state. It is located on the other side of the mouth of the Siolim River, which forms a bay on the coast. The beach is surrounded by picturesque cliffs that make this place extraordinarily beautiful. Of the sights - Chapora Fort is located nearby. In the last century, Vagator was chosen by hippies, now their movement has disappeared, but the traditions of noisy parties have survived and flourish on this beach.
Anjuna
Due to the rocky slope into the sea, Anjuna is considered one of the most inconvenient beaches in North Goa. Despite the inconvenience, this beach is very popular because the largest souvenir market is located nearby. Affordable prices for handicrafts attract a huge number of tourists, although the market is open once a week, only on Wednesdays. There are a lot of vacationers, so the beach is not thoroughly cleaned. Focused on youth.
Calangute
One of the most popular beaches in Goa. It has the most developed tourist infrastructure, and a huge number of entertainment establishments are located near it. There are hotels and clubs to suit every budget. Within walking distance from the beach, shops have everything from beach accessories to household appliances and electronics.
Despite the large number of tourists, almost all clubs close at 22:00, with the exception of the round-the-clock Tito and Mambo. Kalagut is positioned as a family beach.
