Currently, citizens of the Russian Federation have access to the service of issuing a passport passport through multifunctional centers (MFC). To do this, it is enough to visit one of the offices, providing employees with a list of certain documents.

Prepare a package of documents required for registration of a passport. You will need a passport of the Russian Federation and a completed application form for issuing a passport in duplicate. The form for filling is available on the official website of the Federal Migration Service (FMS), from where it can be printed. If you have children, prepare their birth certificates, including a stamp or citizenship insert (for children born before July 7, 2002). Children over 14 years old will need a passport. If the child is not supported by the parents, but by the guardian, an appropriate certificate will be required.
An important document, without which the provision of the service will be denied, is a receipt for payment of the state duty for obtaining a passport. Payment details are posted on the FMS website. The state duty is 1,500 rubles for an adult and 1,000 rubles for a child (up to 14 years old). You can pay at Sberbank branches or through terminals located directly at the MFC. Receive and keep your receipt.
Registration of a passport at the MFC
Visit the nearest MFC and take the queue at one of the windows, after taking the ticket from the administrator. In order not to waste extra time, you can call the center by phone and sign up for a service at a certain time. Please note that at the moment, only an old-style document is available through the MFC, and you can get a new passport only through the FMS at the place of residence.
If you have not previously filled out a form for obtaining a foreign passport, the form can also be taken from the administrative desk and filled out on the spot. If necessary, a specialist will assist with entering the necessary information into the form. Give the MFC operator a package of prepared documents and a completed application form. Make sure the employee has checked the box to accept all information data. Also ask when the finished document will be issued.
When contacting multifunctional centers at the place of registration, the period for preparing and issuing a foreign passport can be up to one month. In case of contacting the MFC for temporary registration or current residence, preparation can take up to four months. As soon as the document is ready, an employee of the multifunctional center will contact you and inform you at what time you can pick up your passport without a queue.
