How to fill out a declaration in Thailand

It is necessary

  • - international passport
  • - round trip plane tickets
  • - a tourist voucher or a printout of a voucher for accommodation in a hotel / villa
  • - a fountain pen of any color, but not a pencil.

Instructions

Step 1

The declaration to Thailand, or rather the immigration card, should be filled out from the "Arrival Card" sheet. All letters must be capitalized, printed and written in Latin. All fields on the form are signed in Thai and English:

1. "Family Name" - Enter your last name.

2. "First Name" - Enter your name.

3. "Nationality" - Please enter your nationality.

4. "Passport No." - Indicate the number of your international passport. You can write all the numbers in a row or make a space, as in a passport.

5. "Visa No." - Indicate your visa number. A visa is a sticker in your passport that is issued only at the embassy. If you do not have one, leave this box blank. Don't worry, this does not mean that you will not be allowed into the country. At passport control you will be given an arrival stamp, which allows you to stay in the Kingdom of Thailand for up to 30 days.

6. "Address in Thailand" - Enter the address of your planned residence in Thailand. This can be either a real address from the voucher, or a fictitious one. You can limit yourself to the name of the settlement and the name of the hotel.

7. "Signature" - Sign the same as in your passport.

8. "Flight or Other Veihcle No." - Indicate the flight number that you are arriving on to Thailand. You need to look at this number on the plane ticket, usually it looks like two Latin letters and several numbers, as you can see in the photo.

9. "Male / Female" - Specify male / female gender.

10. "Date of Birth" - Enter your date of birth in day-month-year format.

11. "For offical use" - This column is used by the Border Guard Officer for an arrival stamp, similar to the one in the passport.

2. "First trip to Thailand" - Is this your first visit to Thailand? Answer yes or no.

3. "Traveling on group tour" - Are you traveling with a group? Answer yes or no.

4. "Accommodation" - Indicate where you plan to stay: hotel - hotel, youth hostel - hostel, guest house - boarding house, friend's home - at friends' houses, appartments - apartments, others - others. Choose a hotel if you don't know what to specify.

7. "Occupation" - Your occupation, your profession, position. For brevity, you can write a manager, border guards are of little interest in this section. The second side of the map is designed to collect statistical data on the quality of the tourist flow to the country.

8. "Country of residence / City / Country" - Section on permanent residence / City of your permanent residence / Country of your permanent residence.

9. "From / Port of embarkation" - your point of departure / port of departure.
