The largest Russian airline Aeroflot offers its passengers the Aeroflot Bonus program, which allows them to earn award miles and then dispose of them in some way. Step 1
First, register for the Aeroflot Bonus program on the airline's website. Step 2
Aeroflot will send a letter to your specified postal address containing your Aeroflot Bonus card. It's free. Typically, a letter arrives in about two weeks. Make a map, even if you do not fly often, because miles are accumulated, and who knows, perhaps over time you will be able to collect enough of them for some purpose.
Step 3
Now, when buying a ticket from Aeroflot, do not forget to indicate your bonus card number, in which case miles will be credited to your account. Remember that there are destinations that earn much more award miles. Also, a Business Class passenger will always earn much more miles on the same flight than an Economy Class passenger.

There are other ways to earn extra miles. Use bank cards associated with the Aeroflot bonus program. One of the most popular cards is VISA Sberbank-Aeroflot. All purchases you pay with this card are converted into miles at a rate of 1 mile per dollar spent. So you, even without frequent flying with Aeroflot, gradually accumulate award miles on your account. Withdrawing cash does not count, only the money is used when you pay with your card.

If you do not use the services of Sberbank, you can make a card from another bank. For example, a similar program is provided by Alfabank, made under the Aeroflot-Bonus program. It issues its cards in cooperation with Aeroflot and Russian Standard.

Try to fly with Aeroflot. If you have chosen to accumulate bonus miles with this airline, then it would be wise to purchase their tickets. It may seem that the prices there are higher than average, but if you make a purchase in advance, then you can find very favorable price offers from this large carrier.
