Alaska is the largest US state by area and the northernmost part of this country. Alaska is located in the northwest of North America, bordered by Canada and - through the Bering Strait - with Russia.
Instructions
Step 1
Alaska is perhaps the most mysterious state in the United States: due to the harsh climatic conditions and remoteness from the main industrial centers, the population density in Alaska is lower than in other parts of America. However, there are extreme people who go to Alaska for new experiences. Beautiful nature, tranquility and remoteness from megacities attract non-standard tourists to this protected area. If you want to admire the beauty of America's northernmost state, apply for a US tourist visa and hit the road.
Step 2
To obtain permission to travel to America, contact the Visa Application Center at the US Consulate (the rules of this country require a personal presence to apply for a visa). At the visa center, you need to submit biomeric materials (fingerprints) and a mandatory package of documents.
It includes:
-international passport;
-2 5X5 cm photos with hair pulled back;
-Filled out application form (issued by the visa center; it can also be found on the website of the US Consulate);
-documents confirming your prosperous life in Russia and unwillingness to emigrate to the United States (certificates from the place of study, from the place of work indicating the position and salary, details of the bank account, marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, documents on real estate ownership).
Step 3
However, the main goal of traveling to Alaska is increasingly to get a high-paying seasonal job. Alaska is a major center for the extraction and processing of oil; fishing is also widely developed in this state. Every year hundreds of people from all over the world leave to work in Alaska. Students can travel to America on the Work and Travel program, as well as CCUSA. Adult non-working citizens of Russia must independently find an employer in Alaska.
Step 4
To obtain a work visa in the United States, you will need:
-international passport;
- an invitation from the employer, a certificate from the place of work with an indication of the future salary;
-Russian passport and a photocopy of all its pages;
-3 photos 3x4;
- completed visa application forms;
-documents confirming the existence of property in Russia;
-dated biometric data (fingerprints).
Step 5
Consideration of documents for any visa is carried out only after the payment of the consular fee. Its cost for each type of visa is different.
Step 6
You can get to Alaska by sea - if you cross the Bering Strait - or by plane. The place of arrival is Anchorage, the capital of Alaska.
