The nature of the route

There is currently only one train route between Adler and Perm, which is numbered 354C in the timetable of the Russian Railways. In the summer months, when the demand for travel in this direction is the highest, this train runs daily, but with the onset of September, the carrier switches it to a mode in which trains leave every other day. Thus, if necessary, you can select the desired day of the week for the trip.

The total train travel time from the starting point of the route, the Adler railway station, to the final point, the Perm-2 station, is 65 hours 37 minutes, that is, 2 days and a little more than 17 hours. However, the train departs from Adler on the running days at 20.19 Moscow time and arrives at the appointed date at the Perm station at 13.56 Moscow time: thus, you will have to spend two full and two incomplete days on the road. The total length of this track is 1973 kilometers: thus, taking into account all stops, the average train speed on this route is about 30 kilometers per hour. At the same time, it is possible to purchase a ticket to a reserved seat carriage of train No. 354C for about 3,500 rubles, and a ticket to a compartment carriage will cost about 5,500 rubles.
