France is a country of beauty and a recognized world leader in fashion. Everything here has its own special charm. Everyone who has been there tries to bring home a thing purchased in France. However, some specially go there for shopping, in order to then flaunt in beautiful and stylish outfits.
Where to go shopping
The easiest and most effective way is to start looking after what you need, as well as making your purchases in the aristocratic eighth district. It is there that the so-called "Golden Triangle" is located. It got its specific name because of the peculiar location of the three streets.
The area is hard to miss, especially in the evening when it literally glows with colorful and vibrant neon signs. Brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Prada, Chanel, Gucci, Dior and many more are represented here.
Prices, however, are greatly overpriced here, even for France, but people with good incomes buy things for themselves right here. On the street with the long and difficult to pronounce name Rue Du Faubourg Saint Honore there are luxury couture shops, and there are small boutiques nearby. Next to them are more famous and large stores, such as Monies and Café Coste.
French Markets
Without going to one of the local markets at least once, a trip to France will not be complete. It is here that you can always find simpler clothes, souvenirs and much more. The area called Saint-Tropez is home to a dozen markets, each with its own specialization. There is, for example, a fish market, and there is a fruit market.
Dijon markets in France are famous all over the world, they are located in the old city near the famous sights, which are also a must-see. One of the most famous is the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris.
Dijon's gourmet bazaars offer all kinds of food, from gingerbread, mustard or the famous French crème de cassis liqueur to meat. In the very center of the pedestrian zone, there is a market, which is essentially a flea market. Here you can simply wander around, hoping for luck, or purposefully search for antiques, hand-knitted carpets and any kind of antiques.
Shops in France are open until approximately 18-19 pm. This should be borne in mind when shopping. Markets close even earlier. It is worth remembering that food prices in the markets are higher than in most supermarkets, so if you want to save money, go to the store.
