The title of the article clearly sounded like this - "The Deadly Bermuda Triangle." Subsequently, various researchers gradually developed this topic in the 70s and 80s. So in 1974 Charles Berlitz published a book in which he listed and tried to analyze the mysterious disappearances in the area of the islands. The skeptic writer Lawrence David Kusche tried to dispel the myth of the paranormal in his book "The Bermuda Triangle: Myths and Reality", in which he argued that no supernatural events took place in this place.

The main part of the land in the Bermuda Triangle is the islands of the same name, belonging to Great Britain. In total, there are about 150 of them, of which 20 are inhabited islands with the capital in Maine Island. It is over Bermuda that air routes run between the United States and Canada with Europe, as well as Central and South America. On the territory of the triangle, there are also several small islets belonging to the groups of Altea and Bahamas.

The largest and most mysterious disaster in the Bermuda Triangle is the mysterious disappearance of five Eveger bombers on December 5, 1945. Military aircraft flew from the US Navy base in Fort Lauderdale, but disappeared, and the wreckage of the aircraft was never found. It is also interesting that at that time the weather over Bermuda was very clear and calm, in a word, favorable for flights. After that, several rescue planes were sent in search of the bombers, and one of them, the Martin Mariner, also disappeared without a trace.
