Women in Armenia often face gender inequality, despite the fact that women's rights are firmly protected by law. In practice, it often happens that men are not hired for prestigious jobs or universities, all other things being equal. Unfortunately, women also work less, there are more unemployed women in Armenia than men.

However, everything is not so bad in the way of life habitual for Armenia. Men, in spite of the fact that they consider themselves to be the main ones in the family, are often obedient and manageable - the women of Armenia are wise, and therefore they know how to put the situation in such a way that they lead the family, in fact, they are. Of course, not a single Armenian admits that he obeys his woman, but this often happens.

Armenia has a reverent attitude towards relatives and elderly people, like all mountaineers. What was said by the elders is beyond doubt. Returning to the topic of the male and female population, it is worth saying that often men consult with their mother or with both parents before taking some important step. They also ask permission, being already adults and independent individuals - out of respect, as it has been the custom from century to century.

Until now, Armenians are perhaps the most hospitable nation in the world. Guests are greeted here warmly, by all means set a plentiful table. Whoever comes to the house must be received with the utmost cordiality, so that the guest will certainly be satisfied (by the way, Armenian cuisine is one of the best in the world).
