The Russian capital, fortunately, does not suffer from a lack of entertainment; they are presented here in great abundance and for every taste. But the best option for everyday recreation is a walk through one of the parks in Moscow.
Visit the main botanical garden of the Russian Academy of Sciences, adjacent to the All-Russian Exhibition Center. There are expositions of plants in the park, divided by geographical zones of the Caucasus, the European part of Russia, Siberia and the Far East, Central Asia; there is a garden of plants that bloom exclusively in the shade, Japanese gardens. The diversity of the landscape is complemented by small ponds and a river valley. The entrance to the park is free.
Ostankino Park is located next to the Botanical Garden. It includes a well-preserved architectural monument of the 18th century, the Ostankino Estate Museum.
In Sokolniki Park, despite the regular holding of various events and the presence of various offices and other structures, you can easily meet a moose without even leaving any of the radial alleys. In winter, the paths are filled with ice, turning them into a skating rink. The entrance to the park is paid only on weekends.
Izmailovsky Park is one of the largest parks in Moscow. It has a varied flora, there are ponds and streams on its territory. It also has a Park of Culture and Leisure with attractions, skate rental, a boat station on a small ring-shaped pond.
The area of the natural and historical park Kuzminki-Lyublino is not inferior to Izmailovsky Park. On its territory there are ponds with boat stations, streams, dams and beautiful bridges, green slopes, beaches, an amusement park. In addition, here you will see the "park of twelve rays", the buildings of the Golitsyn estate, the annual "festival of flower beds" and the only surviving section of the old road along which Russian soldiers walked to Kulikovo Pole. In the back there is the Moscow estate of Father Frost. In the center there are military equipment standing on pedestals, paintball, go-karting, horizontal bars.
The park named after the 850th anniversary of Moscow, located in Maryino, is a good place for walking. It is located along the Moskva River, on its territory there is a pier for river trams, various attractions, sports, children's and pop grounds.
On the territory of Tsaritsyno Park there is an Arboretum - a good place for quiet walks. Many people walk around the reconstructed Grand Palace, among beautiful flower beds, and a pond with a dynamic light fountain.
Another well-maintained park is Kolomenskoye. On its territory there are apple orchards and temples of the 16-17 centuries, and well-groomed paths, and clean lawns. Local places resemble unspoiled nature and views of bygone centuries. In winter, you can ride down the steep mountains in a sleigh, and you can easily warm up in the nearby pancakes and coffee shops. Kolomenskoye and the Park of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow are connected by a river route.
Bitsevsky Park is a large park with small rivers, ponds and streams.
Neskuchny Sad and Vorobyovy Gory are neighboring parks on the slope of the Moskva River. After watching the passing ships, you can climb to a small pond where swans swim, and then to the observation deck of Vorobyovy Gory.
Serebryany Bor is a unique park with a two-hundred-year-old pine forest, as well as numerous beaches, Bottomless Lake and magnificent landscapes.
Saturated with active attractions, cafes and restaurants and the famous Gorky Park. It also has several ponds and a light and music fountain.
Aleksandrovsky Garden is a small but interesting park, which gives you the opportunity to relax on the lawn, and in the very center of Moscow. In some places there are large slopes. Sitting there, you can safely admire nature.
