The Czech Republic is part of the European Union, therefore a Schengen visa is required to enter there. Regardless of the validity of a visa, it is issued only at the embassy of a given country or official visa centers.

Instructions
Step 1
The visa process can be carried out on your own or with the help of a travel agency. In any case, you will have to collect the package of necessary documents yourself, the only difference is that the representative of the company will take your application to the Czech Embassy. Naturally, for a fee.
Step 2
Prepare your visa documents. The standard list includes a Russian and a foreign passport, two color photographs, a job certificate on average earnings and a bank account statement. You also need a document confirming the fact that you will not stay in the Czech Republic longer than the prescribed period. These can be round-trip plane tickets, hotel reservations, or an invitation. Depending on the type of visa and the nature of the trip, the documents for its registration may vary slightly. Step 3
If you decide to contact a travel company for help, conclude an agreement with her to represent your interests at the embassy, hand over the documents listed above, fill out an application form and pay the cost of the service. After that, you will only have to wait for your passport with a visa stamped in it.
Step 4
To obtain a Schengen visa on your own, order a round-trip ticket and book a hotel room. Copies of the reservation will need to be submitted to the embassy.
Step 5
Sign up for the submission of documents no later than 15 days before the proposed trip. You can do this by calling +7 495 504 36 54. If children fly with you, they must also be indicated when registering. Please note that when submitting documents, you will need to be present in person.
Step 6
Fill out the visa application form. Its form can be obtained from the consular section of the embassy or downloaded from the official website by following the link at the end of the article. This questionnaire can be completed by hand or on a computer. Then print and sign it.
Step 7
Come for an interview on the day appointed for you, pay the consular fee, the amount of which varies from 35 to 70 euros (depending on the type of visa), give the employee your application form and all the necessary documents.
Step 8
If everything is in order with the documents, you will be issued a visa to enter the Czech Republic. Consideration of the application may take several days.
