Instructions

Step 1

Get there by car. The easiest way to get to Bakhchisarai is to come here along the highway. If you go from outside the Crimea, then you need to focus on the E-105 highway from Melitopol or on the E-97 from Kherson. From the heart of Crimea, the city of Simferopol, you need to go along the NO6 highway.

You can get from Simferopol by personal car in 20 minutes. The bus runs about 30 minutes from the Western bus station. It is worth noting that there is no regular route from Yalta to Bakhchisarai. Therefore, you can only get there by private car. In addition to buses, route taxis run to the city. Intercity vehicles stop at a bus station located about 2 km from the city center.

Step 2

Use rail transport. You can get to Bakhchisarai by rail. If you get from outside the Crimean Autonomous Republic, then initially you should also get to Simferopol. If you are lucky with the route, you can directly get to the Bakhchisarai railway station. The train goes from Simferopol for about 40 minutes. A commuter train travels the same distance in 1 hour.

Step 3

Travel to Bakhchisarai by plane. There is no airport in the city itself, but nothing prevents you from getting to Simferopol by air. From there you can get to Bakhchisarai by the above methods. If the path is not short and you want to come to warmer regions as quickly as possible, the plane will be the most acceptable option.

Step 4

Visit Bakhchisarai by sea transport. Again, it is worth clarifying that the city is not a port city. Therefore, in any case, part of the journey will have to be done by car or by electric trains. However, this type of movement should not be completely ruled out. There is something romantic about traveling by sea.

By sea transport you can get to Evpatoria, Sevastopol, Yalta, Feodosia or Kerch. The most preferred destination in our case is Sevastopol. From there, along the aforementioned route NO6, you can get directly to Bakhchisarai (30 km of the way). In other cases, you must first come to Sevastopol or Simferopol. From there, get to Bakhchisarai.
