You can get from Istanbul Airport to anywhere in the city using the services of the transport municipal company Hawatash. It offers convenient bus timetables at economical prices. Step 2
In order to arrive in Istanbul as quickly as possible to get to any part of the city without spending time on idle traffic jams, you should give preference to the metro. It will not be difficult to find it by following the signs at the airport. You don't even need to go outside to do this.

If you need to get to the Sirkeci railway station or one of the suburban train platforms, you will have to use the services of a taxi and a train. At the beginning, you will need to take a taxi from the airport to the Yesilyurt platform. The road will take no more than 10 minutes. Then you should change to an electric train going to the station Sirkeci. Here the travel time will be no more than 30 minutes.

You can get from Istanbul Airport to the city center by municipal bus, following route No. 96T. This is the cheapest transfer option, but also the longest. Travel time will take at least an hour, and bus intervals are 40-50 minutes.

Many representative offices of transport companies providing transfer services to any point in Turkey are located directly at the Istanbul airport itself. It will not be difficult to buy a ticket from them. However, you should pay special attention to the number of seats on the bus, its occupancy, as well as the exact route of travel.
