The most famous temple in Malta is the Hypotheum at Hal Safilen; its construction dates back to the period from 3200 to 2900 AD. These are more than 30 buildings, which are made of white limestone, it is believed that this place was not only a cult place, but future priestesses were also trained here. Later, during the excavations of the temple, the burials of six thousand people were found, buried together with ritual relics.
On the islands of Malta and Gozo, the stone sanctuaries of Khal-Tarshien, Jangia and others have been preserved. The remains of a structure in honor of the mother goddess were also found here.
