The summer heat is often intensified by the prolonged lack of precipitation, which is also characteristic of the area.
Located near the Caucasus Mountains, the capital city of Chechnya is also territorially divided into four districts - Zavodskoy, Leninsky, Oktyabrsky and Staropromyslovsky.
