It happens that there is a need to spend the night in the car. How do you make yourself comfortable with maximum comfort? There are several ways, but each comes up with their own tricks. Accommodation comfort strongly depends on the type and size of the car, as well as on how many people will spend the night in it.

Step 1
The easiest way, which works if you just need to sleep for a few hours, is to fold out the front seat and lean back on it. This is often done by drivers who have to drive for a very long time, and there is no time to stop for a good rest. Despite the fact that it is recommended to drive a car with a good rest, nevertheless, the long road is really sick of its monotony. In any case, if you feel sleepy, stopping for an hour and sleeping with the front seat folded out is better than nodding at the wheel.
Step 2
A slightly more comfortable option than the previous one: unfold the adjacent seat with the driver's seat. This will keep the pedals and steering wheel out of your way. Drivers usually do not really like this option, as they even prefer to sleep in their place, while driving.

You can also sleep in the back seat. The main problem here is that you can't stretch your legs, no matter how hard you try. All the same, you need to either bend them, or throw them up, if the design of the cabin allows. Not the most comfortable, however, still used option.

Those who prefer convenience use a variety of tricks. It must be said right away that not all cars allow this, since the seats do not recline in the right way everywhere. You can unfold the rear sofa so that it takes a horizontal view, then access to the trunk will open. You need to sit along the car with your feet in the trunk. Taking a sleeping bag with you can be very comfortable. It is important that the plane is horizontal, this is not the case in all cars.

If you have to spend the night in the car, do not forget about safety precautions. You cannot sleep with the engine running. Since the car is in place and not going anywhere, exhaust gases accumulate under and around it. The body of the car is not hermetically sealed, there are technological ventilation holes in it, so gases inevitably penetrate into the passenger compartment, which is fraught with poisoning and other harmful consequences. It is for this reason that sleeping in a car is prohibited in camping camps, as tourists often leave the engine running, wanting to keep the air conditioner running at night. Exhaust gases, among other things, poison the entire area around the car. When the engine is running, it makes noise, which can interfere with the sleep of neighbors. A lot of autotourists actually die from poisoning while spending the night in a car with the engine running.
Step 6
One of the disadvantages of spending the night in a car is the very fact that for a comfortable stay you need to remove all the things that you take with you somewhere. If you are going on a long trip, it is sometimes easier to take a tent with you to spend the night in it, rather than in the car if you are traveling in the summer.
