Vnukovo International Airport belongs to the Moscow air hub. It is one of the largest airports in the country and ranks fourth in terms of passenger traffic. It is located not far from Moscow, 10 km away from it in the southwest direction.

Step 1
Vnukovo Airport is located on the tenth km of the Kiev highway from the Moscow Ring Road. You can get to it in a variety of ways: by your own car or taxi, Aeroexpress, bus or minibus.
Step 2
The easiest way to get there by your own car or taxi is along the Kiev highway. It is also possible to get there by Borovskoye and Minskoye highways. It is recommended to clarify the situation with traffic jams before leaving. If the Kievskoe highway is free, you should choose it, as this is the shortest and fastest way. On the way, pay attention to the signs to turn off in the right place.
Step 3
For those who do not have their own vehicles, we recommend using the Aeroexpress. The train departs from the Kievskaya metro station, from the Kievsky railway station. The travel time is 35-40 minutes. To get to the train terminal, exit the metro to Kievskiy train station and select the entrance that says “Aeroexpress”. It is located directly opposite the Evropeyskiy shopping center. The train arrives at an underground stop at the airport, from which you can take an elevator to Terminal A. To get to other terminals, you should go outside and go under the flyover, following the signs.
Step 4
A bus or minibus is a convenient way to get to the airport for those who live in the south-west of Moscow. In this case, getting to the center to catch the train there will be a waste of time. Buses No. 611 and 611с follow to Vnukovo, they leave from the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station. Minibus number 45 runs from the same station. You should get out of the first carriage from the center, go to the underpass to the right, then turn left and go up the stairs, then walk a little straight along the car traffic until the bus stops.
Step 5
If you decide to take a bus or minibus, be careful. From the same stop, a minibus leaves, on which it says "To Vnukovo", the minibus has no number. This minibus does not go to the airport, it goes to the Vnukovo village! To get to the airport, if you decide to use it, you will need to walk, it will take 10-20 minutes.
