To apply for a visa to Portugal, it is necessary to collect documents confirming the fact, purpose and material support of the trip, submit them to the Consular Section and pay the visa fee.
Instructions
Step 1
Fill out the Schengen visa application form. The form can be downloaded from the official website of the Portuguese Embassy in Moscow in the “Formularios” section. Print it on one sheet on both sides. Fill in block letters or on your computer. In total, you need 2 copies of the questionnaire. Sign.
Step 2
Take color photographs.
Step 3
Take a copy of your passport photo page. Make sure that the passport is valid for at least 3 months from the end of the trip. Also make copies of all previously issued Schengen visas.
Step 4
Purchase a round trip plane ticket. Take a copy of the ticket or make a printout of the electronic itinerary receipt.
Step 5
Take out a health insurance policy with coverage in all Schengen countries and an insured amount of at least 30,000 euros.
Step 6
Book a hotel during your stay in the country. Print reservation confirmation.
Step 7
Prepare documents proving your financial solvency. Confirmation of this can be a certificate from work, printed on the letterhead of the organization, indicating the position and the size of the salary. You can also make a statement from your bank account or purchase traveler's checks.
Step 8
Make an appointment at the Consular Section of the Portuguese Embassy by calling 495-783-66-23 or 495-974-25-08. Please note that the service is paid, the cost of one minute of conversation is 76 rubles.
Step 9
Visit the Consular Section of the Portuguese Embassy at the appointed time. It is located at Botanichesky Pereulok, Building 1. If you have questions about the documents, you can call 495-981-34-14 in advance.
Step 10
Pay the visa fee at the Consulate, it is the equivalent of 35 or 60 euros for regular and urgent processing, respectively. The visa is issued within a minimum of five days. You can check the stage of paperwork on the official website of the Portuguese Embassy.
