Spending a few days in Moscow may not be as expensive as people think. There are many places in the capital where you can comfortably and fairly cheaply stay for one or more nights.
Holidays in Moscow, a business trip or a weekend trip - in any of these cases, the question arises: where to spend the night in the capital, and even so that it is both cheap and pleasant? The most optimal option for money is to stay with relatives or friends. But this is far from always convenient: the residents of the capital are tired of regular guests, they also have their own lives. Therefore, if there are no acquaintances in Moscow and no one specifically invites you to visit, it is better to choose another budget option for living. Fortunately, there are many of them in the capital.
Hostels
A hostel is a cross between a budget hotel and a hostel. Usually the hostel has several rooms with different number of beds. The largest rooms can contain 10 or even 20 beds, equipped with bunk beds. But there are also smaller rooms, and in many hostels you can order a double room. The price of each bed depends on the number of beds in the room. So, rooms with a large number of guests staying only about 500 rubles per night, while a double room can be equal to the cost of a night in a hotel.
In addition to sleeping space, hostels provide a fairly large number of services: they have a kitchen where you can cook hot food at any time, a common guest room equipped with computers, internet, TV. Here you can have a good time in the evenings, chatting with other guests, reading or playing games. In addition, the hostels should be equipped with a bath and shower, a place for washing. Hostels are a great haven for young people from different countries, so it's fun, cozy and cheap to spend time in a foreign city.
Rented apartments
This option is more expensive than a hostel, but there will be no crowds of strangers nearby and you can safely come and leave the apartment whenever you want. In addition, it is profitable to rent apartments for a group of people, because the payment is taken not for the number of guests, but only for the number of nights in the apartment, and the owners rarely watch too strictly how many people live on their living space.
An apartment for several nights can be booked remotely via the Internet before the trip by contacting the owner or agency directly. And you can find it even when you have already arrived in the city. A lot of apartments at quite reasonable prices are offered by elderly people at train stations and stations. However, if you are afraid of running into scammers, it is better to refuse this way of looking for housing.
Hotels
Small hotels, located, as a rule, far from noisy highways and the center, will also help save money. The cost of a night in such a hotel will be much less than in a large hotel. True, you will have to get to the hotel by metro, and you will have to travel to the city center every day, but the metro in Moscow is fast and the stations are located quite close to each other, so transport will not be a problem.
