For a tourist visit to Sweden, a short-term category C visa is issued. It can be used for tourism, private visits, business meetings (without the right to work with compensation), as well as to participate in various events.
Instructions
Step 1
A foreign passport, valid for 90 days from the date of the end of the requested visa. Your passport must have two blank pages in order to obtain a visa sticker. A photocopy of the personal data page must be made.
Step 2
Russian passport and copies of its following pages: personal information with a photo, registration, marital status, issued passports.
Step 3
A completed application form in English or Swedish, personally signed by the applicant. If you are traveling with children, then you also need to fill out separate questionnaires for them. If you make a notarized power of attorney, then you can transfer the right to sign for you on the questionnaire to a third party.
Step 4
Two color photographs measuring 3, 5 x 4, 5 cm, taken on a light background, without corners and frames. On the back of each photo, write the passport number in pencil.
Step 5
Confirmation of the purposes of stay in the country. A fax from the hotel or a printout from the website, which contains all the details of the reservation, will do. If you bought a tour, you need to attach a confirmation of its booking and payment. For those traveling on a private visit, you must provide an invitation drawn up in English or Swedish no later than three months before applying for a visa. The inviting person must make an extract from the population register. You also need to show a photocopy of the host's identity card and a document confirming the right to legally reside in the country (a passport is sufficient for both cases).
Step 6
Tickets to the country, round trip. You can attach photocopies of original tickets or a printout from the booking site. It is allowed to show tickets not from Sweden, but from third states of the Schengen area.
Step 7
Proof of employment in Russia. Usually this is a certificate from the place of work, issued on a letterhead, which must indicate the position, salary and work experience of the person, as well as the contact information of the company's management. If the applicant is a student, then you need to show a certificate from the university and a photocopy of the student card. Students should get a certificate from school. Pensioners show a photocopy of their pension certificate.
Step 8
Bank statement confirming that you have sufficient funds for the trip. You should have there an amount of at least 40 euros for each day of stay. You do not need to attach this document if you have been sent an invitation, which says that the receiving party will pay all your expenses.
Step 9
If your own funds are not enough to pay for the trip, then you need to attach a letter from the sponsor, as well as a certificate from his work and an extract from his bank account.
Step 10
Insurance policy and its photocopy. The amount of coverage must be 30 thousand euros, the validity period is the entire time of your stay in the Schengen countries.
