Step 1

The first step is to fill out the visa application form. It must be completed in English, on a computer or in block letters. Don't forget to sign it.

Step 2

If you are submitting documents to the Visa Section of the Embassy, an advance registration via the Internet is required. You can submit documents to the Visa Application Center either by appointment or on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is possible by phone (495) 662-87-39 (on weekdays from 8:00 to 19:00) or on the website of the Visa Application Center.

Step 3

If you are traveling to Finland by invitation, attach the original or a copy of the invitation to the main documents. If you are traveling at the invitation of a Russian citizen residing in Finland, you must provide copies of documents authorizing his stay in the country and a copy of the spread of his passport.

Step 4

Pupils and students must attach a certificate from the place of study, a copy of the student card and a sponsorship letter from parents.

Step 5

For pensioners - a copy of the pension certificate and a sponsorship letter or financial documents (an extract from an international bank card or other documents confirming the availability of funds).

If the child is traveling with one of the parents, a copy of the notarized consent from the other parent will be required. If the child is traveling with an accompanying person, a copy of the notarized consent from both parents will be required.
