Russians wishing to obtain a Finnish visa in Moscow should apply to the visa center of the Embassy of Finland, located at ul. Kalanchevskaya, 13, and provide the necessary documents.
Instructions
Step 1
Fill out the application for a Schengen visa. You can do this manually in printable, legible letters on a preprinted letterhead or online on the website of the Visa Application Center of the Embassy of Finland. To submit documents, you must provide one copy of the questionnaire. Sign in two places - in question 37 and on the last page. Remember that the specialists of the visa center check the information specified in the application form, they can call the employer or you.
Step 2
Glue a 36 x 47 mm color photo to the application form. Please note that in addition to the non-standard size, the specialists of the visa department also have other requirements for the photo, namely: the size of the head must be from 25 to 35 mm, the background color must be gray, photos on a white background are not accepted.
Step 3
Apply for a health insurance policy from an insurance company for the entire duration of your stay in Finland. You can find a list of accredited insurance companies on the website of the Finnish Embassy in Moscow. Please note that handwritten policies will not be accepted.
Step 4
Attach documents describing the purpose of your trip to the general package. This can be an invitation from a private person or organization, a cover letter from an employer, a confirmation of a hotel reservation. If you are traveling by rail or by plane, please provide copies of the round trip tickets.
Step 5
Support the package of documents with a job certificate or bank statement. The visa center does not require official evidence of your solvency, but they will not be superfluous.
Step 6
Make sure that your passport will be valid for at least three months after the end of the trip.
Step 7
Make an appointment at the Visa Application Center of the Embassy of Finland in Moscow. If you fill out the form online, the notification will come automatically. If you are filling out the questionnaire manually, call 495-662-87-39 and arrange an appointment time. Visitors are also accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, but on condition that there are no pre-registered visitors.
