Shchelkovo is a city located northeast of Moscow, in the Klyazma River basin. You can get to it both by car and by public transport, since it is connected to the capital by two transport arteries: a branch of the railway and Shchelkovskoe highway.

Step 1
Go to the city of Shchelkovo by train. To do this, you need to get to the Komsomolskaya station along the Koltsevaya or Sokolnicheskaya line and get off the metro to the Yaroslavsky railway station. Then take a train that goes in one of the following directions: "Moscow-Monino", "Moscow-Fryazevo" or "Moscow-Shchelkovo" and get to the stations "Voronok" or "Shchelkovo".
You can look at all the necessary information about departing trains on a large board at the station, or find out the schedule in advance on the Internet and plan your route. Travel time is about 50 minutes, depending on the number of stops that the train makes. You can get there faster: take the Moscow-Monino express train and get to the Voronok station. The journey will take 38 minutes.
Step 2
Use ground transportation. The city of Shchelkovo can be reached by bus or fixed-route taxi. To do this, you need to take the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya metro line to the Shchelkovskaya station and get off the first carriage from the center towards the bus station. From here you can get by bus №349 "Moscow-Shchelkovo-7", by minibus №485 "Moscow-Shchelkovo", by bus or fixed-route taxi №№361, 361t, 361e "Moscow-Fryazino" or by bus №335 " Moscow-Fryanovo "and drive to the city of Shchelkovo. Travel time, excluding traffic jams, will take about 30-40 minutes.
Step 3
Drive your car. To get to Shchelkovo by car, you need to follow the Shchelkovo highway (A-103) in the direction from the capital to the turn to the city of Shchelkovo. The travel time depends on the traffic congestion. During rush hours, there is difficult traffic at the turn from the Shchelkovskoye highway at the entrance to the city. In this regard, when planning your trip, take this circumstance into account. On average, without traffic jams, the road to Shchelkovo will take from 30 to 40 minutes.
