There are several ways to leave Vnukovo Airport without using your own car. All methods are different in cost and level of comfort, as well as the time spent on the road.

Step 1
Call a taxi. Remember that there are no "private traders" on the territory of the airport, the taxi service is centralized. In order to find the counters where you can order a car, enter the arrivals hall, turn your back to the exit from the customs control zone. Go through the entire hall to the exit from the airport building, on the left is the counter you need. The prices are fixed, depending on the area of Moscow, in which you need to get, the price list is posted on the glass. Compared to Moscow taxi services, the fare is quite high. The car arrives within 10-20 minutes.
Step 2
Take a ride on the Aeroexpress. This method is especially convenient if you need to leave Vnukovo Airport between 6 am and 11 pm. Trains run every hour (except at 13.00). At night, the message is interrupted. In order to go to the trains, exit the airport, turn left. Go to the end of the building, cross the road. Turn left again and there will be a multi-storey car park on your right hand. Behind it you will see the entrance to the station. Purchase a ticket at the box office, the cost for October 2011 is 320 rubles. Discount is provided when buying a round-trip ticket. Go down the escalator, wait for the train. Travel time 35 minutes, the express train arrives at the Kievsky railway station. Keep your ticket until the end of the trip; it will need to be attached to the turnstile at the destination station.
Step 3
Use public transport. From the airport to the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station, buses 611 and 611с run. The intervals between flights are 8-20 minutes, the bus service starts at 5.30. The bus stop is located between the multi-storey parking lot and the exit to the Aeroexpress trains, opposite the departure area of Vnukovo airport. Travel time depends on the congestion of the Kiev highway, in a normal situation the road will take 30 minutes.
