Andorra is famous for its mountains, which beckon ski lovers to conquer them. The main contingent of tourists here is young people. Of course, there is no sea in this country, but there is something to see, except for the mighty mountains.
Castle d'Enclar. It was built above Santa Coloma, at an altitude of over 1000 meters. Initially, the castle was built to serve as the residence of the counts. D'Enclar was built in the 9th century and of course since then it has been restored many times, but most of its appearance has been preserved to this day. The castle is open for excursions.
Museum of Russian nesting dolls. Of course, it sounds rather strange, but there is indeed a museum in Andorra, which contains almost 300 types of wooden toys. Having visited the museum, you can not only look at the exhibited souvenirs, but also see the history of their origin and development.
Church of St. Miguel. It was built in the 12th century. Once you reach the church, notice the beautiful views of the Andorra valley. There is a bell tower inside the church and it has three floors. The original murals that used to decorate the walls of the building are now kept in the Barcelona Museum.
Castle Casa de la Vall. Built in the 16th century, the castle used to belong to a wealthy Andorran family. At the top of the Casa de la Vall there are towers, and the windows have severe bars. But in 1700, the castle began to serve as a building in which members of the Parliament of Andorra held their meetings. The castle is now open for excursions. The kitchen is available for viewing, and the room itself, in which the documents were held and kept, even the cabinet where the papers were kept under lock and key, has also been preserved.
