Of course, the most famous landmark is the Great Wall of China - and it is necessary to visit there in order to comprehend the greatness of human labor. But China is so multifaceted that the wall is just the entrance to this country. Do not stay there for a long time, there is still a lot of fun in the Celestial Empire.
Step 2
Among the attractions, one cannot fail to note the Forbidden City, which is located inside Beijing. It is believed that it was here that the residences of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties were located. This is an interesting complex with Inner and Outer palaces. The Forbidden City also houses the famous Hall of Supreme Harmony, where solemn state ceremonies were held. Now in this complex are unique objects of art of these dynasties.

Do not leave the butterfly park unnoticed for yourself, where these wonderful creatures are presented in all their diversity and beauty. All butterflies are alive and cannot be caught, by the way, not all of them can be photographed, some of the individuals are sensitive to bright light: pay attention to the signs and words of the guide.

Of course, China is represented by many temples and pagodas, which are also worth paying attention to. For example, the Temple of Heaven is the only circular building in Beijing. Previously, it was called the Temple of Heaven and Earth, but in the 15th century, after the construction of a separate Temple of Earth, it became dedicated only to the sky.

Do not disregard the Sanqiang Nature Reserve, where about 10,000 animals are represented. Here you can see a white tiger and wildebeest, a Thai alligator and a white lion. Here you can make both walking and in places of travel by car; tourists especially like car night excursions.

It is interesting to take a romantic night cruise on the Huangpu River - the symbol of China. This spectacle will not leave anyone indifferent - after all, after sunset, the whole banks of skyscrapers are lit up around the river with hundreds of neon lights and, as a continuation, they are reflected in the water. Do not forget to take part in any holiday or festival that this country is famous for. In February, the New Year is widely celebrated here, the country does not work for almost 10 days, and every night hundreds of fireworks illuminate the sky. In April in China, you can take part in the People's Festival, and in October again enjoy the colors of fireworks.
