Trips that are associated with a change in the climatic zone can cause you to feel unwell. This is especially true for meteosensitive people, as well as people with poor health. Therefore, any rest in a place with an unusual climate can become a source of dangers to the body.
Instructions
Step 1
Human acclimatization is a process of adaptation to changed geographic and climatic conditions, as well as adaptation of the body to an unusual environmental factor. The human body pulled out of the ordinary environment is simply forced to completely rebuild itself to new conditions, restoring its balance with the environment. Such a process is far from always well tolerated by people, even healthy people may feel some ailments in the first days, lose efficiency and appetite, and have problems with sleep.
Step 2
Great difficulties can arise during acclimatization in hot climates, especially for the elderly, as well as people with chronic diseases. Common signs of acclimatization: general weakness, sleep disturbances, disorders of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, headaches, exacerbation of chronic diseases (rheumatism, hypertension). In some countries with warm climates, a person more or less acclimatizes calmly, the main factor is dry air, when the body gives off heat through sweating.
Step 3
Quite another matter is a hot climate with no wind and high air humidity. Here sweat cannot easily evaporate; thermoregulation is disturbed. As a result - increased heart rate and respiration, overheating of the body, decreased blood supply to internal organs. In such conditions, a person is constantly thirsty. The signs of acclimatization are gradually softening, but some people cannot completely adapt to such climatic conditions. Acclimatization in hot countries can lead to heatstroke, seizures, and a large loss of mineral salts.
Step 4
Acclimatization in alpine conditions is difficult. The main factors that are responsible for feeling unwell in such an area are: insufficient oxygen in the air, low atmospheric pressure, oxygen starvation. In humans, the content of erythrocytes and hemoglobin in the blood increases, and ventilation of the lungs increases. There is a rapid heartbeat and tinnitus, shortness of breath, constant dizziness and headaches, general weakness of the body, nausea.
Step 5
Mention should also be made of the peculiarities of acclimatization in northern latitudes. In addition to low temperatures, strong magnetic storms can be observed in this region, which do not at all contribute to satisfactory well-being, as well as a lack of ultraviolet radiation or light starvation. Violations of the light regime can lead to insomnia, loss of appetite, sleepiness during the day, and fatigue. To facilitate acclimatization, you need to organize the proper nutrition (high-calorie food), start taking ascorbic acid and other vitamins. Do not get carried away with alcohol, as it only interferes with normal acclimatization.
