The fact that an applicant for a visa has a permanent job is perceived by consular officials of many countries as a confirmation of financial solvency and, at the same time, a connection with the homeland, which guarantees a return home. But this does not mean that a person who does not have one has not the slightest chance of getting a visa.

- - confirmation of financial solvency and ties with the homeland, compensating for the lack of a certificate from work.

Step 1
If a person is not in an employment relationship with anyone, this does not always mean that he does not have a stable income.
The most convincing is the banking history for the period from 6 to 12 months, indicating regular and impressive receipts to your account. You can easily get a certificate of receipt of money on the account for this period in your bank. Of course, if there are no such receipts, it makes no sense to do this operation.
Step 2
There are consulates, which accept a certificate from work only as one of the confirmations of financial solvency, and as an alternative, a certificate of the availability of funds on the current account at the rate of at least the minimum amount per day of stay (each country has its own), a document of purchase is suitable foreign currency or traveler's checks.
Step 3
As a last resort, you can use a version of the so-called sponsorship letter. In this document, a relative (which is preferable) or an acquaintance of the visa applicant states his readiness to finance the visa applicant's trip.
The letter must be accompanied by documentary evidence of the financial solvency of the sponsor from among those accepted by the embassy in this capacity (certificate from work, from a bank, etc.).
