The first question that arises for any person who comes to an unfamiliar city is what interesting places are worth visiting? In this article I would like to highlight some of the sights of the beautiful city on the Volga River Saratov.
The most important landmark of the city is Victory Park. It is dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The park, more precisely, a forested area, is located on a hill, in the center of which there is a monument with cranes dedicated to our heroes. The park is a museum of military equipment, as well as a huge forested area stretching for several tens of kilometers. Hundreds of Saratov residents come here every day to relax, and on weekends and holidays there are thousands of visitors. The entrance to the territory is free.
An equally attractive place in the city is considered to be the Cosmonauts Embankment. It stretches along the central part of the city, where guests of our city can observe a beautiful view of the Volga and its environs, as well as the Saratov-Engels bridge. This vacation spot is perfectly equipped for walking with children, there are many attractions and cafes. Sports lovers can have a great time too. Various constructions are installed on the Embankment for practicing any kind of sports. Every day many athletes train here in the morning.
Where else can you go when you come to our glorious town? Of course, this is the central pedestrian street of the city - Kirov Prospect. A great place with a great variety of cafes, shops and clubs. Where to go? Lipki Park. A great time for leisure.
The city has beautiful cultural places - theaters, a circus, a conservatory, a philharmonic society. Lovers of culture and creativity will definitely not be bored.
I would like to note that the city is located on the right bank of the Volga, so in the summer you can certainly relax on the beaches of the city, and we have three of them!
