Instructions

Step 1

According to the terms of the program, the following categories of people can take part in it: citizens of the Russian Federation who, for certain reasons, have lived outside of Russia for a long time; former residents of the USSR who currently reside in the former Soviet republics; emigrants or immigrants from the pre-existing Russian Republic, the RSFSR and the USSR, who are stateless persons who have it in foreign countries or people with a residence permit in these countries; descendants of all of the above categories of citizens (with the exception of the titular nations of foreign states) and people who already live permanently or temporarily in Russia.

Step 2

So, the state program includes the conditions for the provision of several documents that allow people to be included in it. First of all, an applicant for Russian citizenship must fill out a questionnaire according to the established template. Then submit documents confirming his identity (usually a passport), as well as similar documents for all other family members who are going to move with the applicant. Additional papers include the following - documentary assurance of the kinship of all family members, information about their education, information about their professional skills, work experience and, possibly, other documents that can confirm the veracity of the information written by the applicant for citizenship in the application form.

Step 3

The term for approval of the submitted application form on citizenship usually lasts 1-1.5 months, but, due to the emergence of special circumstances, it can be extended for a longer period. As a result of the approval of the application by the authorized bodies, the applicant for citizenship receives an official notification that he can become part of the state program, get a job in Russia and receive an official invitation to issue a certificate of citizenship.

Step 4

A person "approved" by the state will be able to count on the support of the state - to receive compensation for resettlement expenses, "lifting" funds for the first time, as well as to receive a monthly allowance during the absence of official labor activity.
