The Netherlands is a member state of the Schengen Agreement. If you decide to visit this country and hold the citizenship of the Russian Federation, you will need a valid Schengen visa. You can apply for it yourself at the Embassy of the Netherlands, at the Netherlands Visa Application Center in Moscow, at the Consulate General in St. Petersburg or in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
Necessary
- - a passport valid for at least 90 days after returning from a trip;
- - a photocopy of the internal passport;
- - used international passport with Schengen visas (if any);
- - visa application form;
- - 2 color photographs 3, 5 X 4, 5;
- - travel tickets (round trip);
- - proof of residence;
- - certificate from the place of work;
- - confirmation of financial solvency (at the rate of 34 euros per person per day);
- - medical insurance policy valid in the European Union (with coverage of at least 30,000 euros);
- - payment of the consular fee.

Step 1
Make sure your passport has two blank pages.
Step 2
You can fill out the form by following the link - https://www.netherlandsvac-ru.com/russian/download.aspx. It is completed on a computer, in English or Dutch. Don't forget to sign it
Step 3
The employer's certificate must contain the following information: the date you were hired, your position, the amount of salary and information about the vacation provided.
Step 4
Private entrepreneurs will need to attach a copy of the TIN and a copy of the organization's registration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the package of documents.
Step 5
If you are traveling by invitation, you will need to present the original invitation, a letter of guarantee issued by the municipality of the city where the person inviting you lives, a copy of his passport and a certificate of income for the last 3 months. The monthly amount must be at least 1200 euros. If you are invited by your next of kin, you do not need a financial statement.
Step 6
Students and schoolchildren need a certificate from the educational institution, and if the trip will take place during school hours, an additional certificate will be needed, allowing them not to be present in the classroom.
Step 7
Non-working citizens and pensioners will need a copy of their pension certificate and confirmation of the availability of funds (sponsorship letter, bank statement, etc.).
Step 8
Children must attach a copy of the birth certificate and a separately completed and signed by the parent questionnaire to the main documents.
Step 9
If the child is traveling with one parent, it is necessary to present a notarized power of attorney from the other parent (original and copy). If the child is accompanied by an authorized representative, attach the original and a copy of the notarized power of attorney from both parents. The original is returned. In the absence of one of the parents, a corresponding document or certificate from the competent authorities will be required.

Visa documents are submitted by appointment. Keep in mind that you can submit documents no earlier than 90 days and no later than 21 days before the start of the trip.
