Holland, or the Netherlands, has signed the Schengen Agreement. All Russian citizens need a visa to visit these territories, but if you have a sticker from another country from Schengen, then there is no need to obtain a separate visa to Holland. For a tourist visa (category C), you need some documents.
Instructions
Step 1
A foreign passport that will be valid for at least 90 days from the end of the requested visa. It must contain two blank pages. If you have old passports with Schengen visas pasted in, then attach them too.
Step 2
Application form for a visa. Completed by hand or on a computer, in English, Dutch or German. On the questionnaire, you need to stick a photo of 35x45 mm, made according to special rules. Attach another photo of the same to the application form using a paper clip. Sign the application form.
Step 3
Medical insurance policy valid for the entire duration of your trip. The amount of coverage must be at least 30 thousand euros.
Step 4
Round-trip tickets (by plane, train or sea vessel). You can attach a photocopy of the tickets, or you can - a printout from the site. Open-ended tickets will not be accepted.
Step 5
Hotel reservation for the entire stay in the country. If your itinerary runs through several countries, then you need to attach reservations from hotels in these countries too. These can be faxes, originals or printouts from the Internet.
Step 6
Those traveling on a private visit should receive an invitation from the Netherlands, legalized by the country's municipal authorities. A copy of the page with personal data from the Dutch passport of the inviting person is attached to the invitation. If the person is your relative, documents confirming this are attached.
Step 7
Proof of financial solvency. Bank statements and traveler's checks are accepted for consideration. Money must be at least 38 euros per day.
Step 8
Proof of work. Usually this is a certificate on the letterhead of the organization, which indicates your experience, salary, position, as well as the contact details of the director and accountant of the company. Individual entrepreneurs need to provide a certificate of registration and tax registration, as well as a copy of the TIN.
Step 9
Pensioners must attach a copy of their pension certificate, students - a student card and a certificate from the university, and schoolchildren - a certificate from the school.
Step 10
Anyone who does not pay for his trip himself (or does not have enough documents confirming financial viability) must receive a sponsorship letter from the next of kin, a copy of his passport page with personal data, as well as an extract from his bank account and a certificate from his work.
