It is necessary to approach the registration of a Canadian visa with great responsibility, since it is quite difficult to become a temporary resident of this country. Visa decisions are made in Moscow, but the personal presence of a tourist is not required.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the website of the Canadian Embassy in Russia and read all the official requirements for a visa applicant, recommendations for completing the application form and find out what documents will need to be collected.
Step 2
Select the type of visa based on the purpose of your trip to Canada. Apply for a permit to enter the country and complete the Family Information form in duplicate. These two documents must be drafted in such a way as to convince the visa officer that there is a good reason for visiting Canada and to prove your desire to return to your country of residence. The list of documents also includes a foreign passport, the validity of which must expire no earlier than six months after returning from a trip. If you previously had another passport, make copies of all of its pages.
Step 3
Take a certificate from the place of work, completed on the company's letterhead. It must be certified by the seal and signature of the manager, contain information about work experience, leave permission and average monthly income.
Step 4
Take 2 photos, the minimum size is 35mm x 45mm. The face should be shot from the front and positioned exactly in the center of the frame. The top of the shoulders should also be visible in the photo. The image should be colored and clear. Only light colors are acceptable as a background. Make your facial expression calm, nothing should distort your appearance, photos cannot be retouched.
Step 5
Collect a package of documents that speaks about your financial independence and family well-being. These include constituent documents, advertising brochures, invoices, and so on, confirming the stability of the enterprise or company, if you own it. In addition, you can attach copies of documents confirming ownership rights, for example, a photocopy of the purchase agreement for an apartment or land. Collect information about existing bank accounts. Describe the itinerary in detail and attach copies of your hotel and ticket booking documents to the description.
Step 6
Once you have collected all the necessary paperwork, contact the courier service of the Canadian Embassy. In Russia, such services are provided by Pony Express. Along with the transfer of documents, you will be able to pay the visa fees.
Step 7
Further, the application will be considered for 2 to 6 weeks. As soon as the decision on granting a visa is made, the documents will be sent back to the courier service office. The firm will notify you of the receipt, and you can personally pick them up.
