Instructions

Step 1

There are no direct flights from Moscow to Svetlogorsk, because the city does not have its own airport. Therefore, the only option is to fly to Minsk. There are plenty of flights - about 30 every day. You can fly with Belavia or Transaero airlines from Domodedovo airport, and you can fly from Vnukovo airport with UTair. The flight time will take from 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes. In Minsk, you need to take bus # 3 from the airport to the railway station and take a train to the Svetlogorsk-on-Berezin station. It will take about 2 more hours.

Step 2

It is convenient to travel to Svetlogorsk by train. To do this, you need to take the Moscow - Gomel train, which departs from the Belorussky railway station twice a day. You have to go to the Zhlobin station, and then change to the local train and go to the Svetlogorsk-on-Berezin stop. The road from Moscow to Zhlobin will take 12 hours, and from Zhlobin to Svetlogorsk - about 2 more hours.

Step 3

If we talk about traveling by car, then from Moscow you need to go to the M1 “Belarus” highway. First there will be Mozhaisk, then Vyazma, then Smolensk. After the Russian-Belarusian border, the E95 highway begins, along which you need to move to Mogilev, and after Mogilev, drive Bykhov along the same highway. After Bykhov there will be a turn onto the P43 highway, which will lead to Zhlobin. Further, the P43 highway turns into P39, along which you can drive directly to Svetlogorsk. The road, depending on the traffic situation, will take from 13 to 16 hours.

Step 4

There is also a second option to get to Svetlogorsk by car. To do this, you need to leave Moscow along the M1 “Belarus” highway, bypass Ruza, Dorokhovo and Vereya. In the Kaluga region, you need to go to the A101 highway and move through Yukhnov, Krapivna and Ekimovichi. After the Russian-Belarusian border, you need to go along the P43 highway through Domamerici, Slavgorod, Rogachev and Lebedevka. The last stage is the departure in the Chirkovichi area from the P43 highway to the P82 highway. This way to Svetlogorsk will take from 13 to 15 hours. Again, depending on the traffic situation.
