In the west of Ukraine there is a rather interesting city - Khmelnitsky. There are many attractions here. The main ones are the St. George Church, the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin and, in fact, the monument to Bohdan Khmelnitsky himself. After all, it is in his honor that the city is named. And I must also add that Khmelnitsky is twinned with three Russian cities - Domodedovo, Ivanovo and Tver. So it is informative and interesting to go there.
Instructions
Step 1
Unfortunately, there is no air connection with Khmelnytsky, because the nearest airport is in the city of Lviv. And between Lviv and Khmelnytsky the distance is 245 kilometers, which means more than three hours of travel by bus or car. Therefore, to get to Khmelnitsky, it is not very convenient to use the plane.
Step 2
Today, the most optimal and quick way to get from Moscow to Khmelnitsky is by long-distance train. All trains leave from the Kievsky railway station of the Russian capital. To get to Khmelnitsky, you can use one of two trains that follow the route "Moscow - Budapest", which takes about 18 hours. Or take one of the four long-distance trains "Moscow - Sofia". Travel time is 16 and a half hours. It is also possible to get to your destination by purchasing tickets for one of the two branded trains "Moscow - Lviv", which will be on the road for a little more than 19 hours. Several years ago, a direct train was launched on the route "Moscow - Khmelnitsky". Travel time is about 19 hours.
Step 3
And if you came to Ukraine and decided to visit Khmelnitsky, then the list of cities from which you can get to this settlement is very impressive. These are Vinnitsa, Dnepropetrovsk, Simferopol, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankovsk, Kamenets-Podolsky, Kiev, Odessa, Lvov, Truskavets, Chop, Cherkassy, Chernivtsi, Uzhgorod, Kherson and Kharkov.
Step 4
As for the bus service, you can go to Khmelnitsky by bus from the Kievsky railway station. Travel time will be at least one and a half days. The same applies to a private car. The route runs through the territory of Russia and Ukraine, and there are not the most even roads. So the travel time to Khmelnitsky by car will also be at least one and a half days.
