Step 1
The fastest way to get to Karaganda is by plane. Flights "Moscow - Karaganda" of "Transaero" airline take off from Domodedovo airport once a day, and from Sheremetyevo - "Aeroflot" liners. Flight time is 3 hours 30 minutes. Flights from the Russian capital arrive at the Sary-Arka airport in Karaganda. It is the largest and perhaps the most beautiful of all the airports in Kazakhstan. Its total area is 30 thousand square meters. But for all its high technical and operational characteristics, Sary-Arka has only one problem - it has almost no passenger traffic, and the airport is practically empty. There are only 3-4 flights per day, which is extremely small for such a huge space.

Those who do not tolerate flying above the clouds have the opportunity to get to Karaganda by long-distance train. The Moscow-Karaganda branded train leaves the Kazansky railway station three times a week. The train passes many beautiful places, and it takes about 60 hours on the way.

There is another option to get to Kazakhstan by rail, take the Moscow - Astana train, and at the terminal station at the Zheleznodorozhny Vokzal stop, change to the Astana - Karaganda bus.

Since buses from Moscow to Karaganda do not go, you can get to your destination by your own car. In the first variant, it is necessary to take a course for Orenburg along the M5 Ural highway, and then drive more than 300 kilometers across the steppes and enter Karaganda. According to the second option, it is necessary to follow the M5 highway by the route from Moscow to Chelyabinsk, then along the M37 highway to Astana and further to Karaganda.

According to the third option, along the M4 “Don” highway, one can get from Moscow to Volgograd, and then, bypassing Atyrau and Baikonur, along the M36 highway, get to Karaganda. The journey by car will take at least 55 hours, excluding stops.
