To Luhansk by personal transport
The city is a regional road junction. In the future, it is planned to build a district autobahn. On the M-04 highway you can get to Lugansk from Donetsk. In a southeast direction, this route leads from the city to the border with Russia. On the territory of Donetsk, the Russian highway changes its name to M-21. The N-21 highway passes through Luhansk from south to north. Its southern part leads to the city from the Donetsk region. The northern branch of the route allows you to get to Lugansk from Starobelsk. By P-22 you can enter the city from the north-east. The road leads from the Ukrainian-Russian border. On the territory of Russia, the route is called P272.

Railroad track
The Lugansk station is located on the border of the Kamennobrodsky, Artyomovsky and Leninsky districts of the city. It belongs to the Donetsk railway. For many long-distance electric trains, Luhansk is the terminal station. Electric trains also arrive at the city station. Long-distance trains can travel to Lugansk from Moscow, Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, Simferopol. Suburban electric trains connect the city with settlements in Lugansk, Donetsk and Rostov regions.

By plane to Luhansk
The city has a small international airport. It is the base for Luhansk Airlines. Since 2009, UTair-Ukraine aircraft have also been based here. The city airfield is capable of receiving Tu-154 and lighter aircraft, as well as helicopters. Luhansk has regular flights with Kiev and Moscow. Also, in the warm season, charter flights from Antalya (Turkey) and Thessaloniki (Greece) arrive in the city.
