Mount Kailash is one of the mysterious, unknown places on the planet, which has been surrounded by mystical secrets for 2000 years. Already on the approaches to it, strange events that defy human understanding take place. Nobody can either refute them or explain them from the point of view of science.
The shape and location of the mountain
Mount Kailash is located in a remote, remote place in Western Tibet. It is surrounded by eight mountains, which have one surface of an unusual, concave shape, turned towards it. In shape, the mountain resembles a snow-covered pyramid with faces oriented to the cardinal points, like the famous pyramids of Egypt.
The slope on the south side is crossed by a descending crack, in the center of which is a horizontal one. The shadow that forms from them during sunset looks like a huge swastika.
Eyewitnesses observing the mountain for several days have noticed unusual effects. Above the summit, flashes are visible, similar to a flash of ball lightning. From time to time, the colored balls form bizarre shapes.
Mysterious 6
Until now, scientists argue about the actual height of Kailash. The most common version is 6666 m. Depending on the method of measurement, the height fluctuates between 6637–6890 m.
6666 km is the distance from the mountain to the North Pole. The same distance to the megalithic stone structure Stonehenge, located in the English county of Wiltshire.
Unknown - mysterious lakes, elusive time …
Not far from this mountain there are two lakes - eastern Manasarovar and western Rakshas Tal. They are separated by a small isthmus. The first lake of extraordinary transparency has fresh water. Its surface is always calm, regardless of the season. The water surface of another, salt lake, ripples all the time, like during a storm. Why? So far, no one can explain.
According to observations, in the Kailash region, time is accelerating. 12 hours spent there are equal to 2 regular weeks. This can be seen in the rate of regrowth of nails and hair. The goals of those who have come to the mountain are mysteriously changed. One gets the feeling that she does not let her in.
Almost in the alignment of the famous crack, there is a 2-kilometer stone sarcophagus connected to Mount Kailash by a 50-meter tunnel. Its walls are covered with a gable multi-stage roof, on the pediment of which you can see the remains of high reliefs.
A mountain that keeps its secrets
The first reports about the conquest of the top of the mountain by American climbers appeared in the late 90s. But within 2 years, for unknown reasons, they died. 2007 - Russian climbers did not finish their ascent, a member of the group tragically died. An attempt to conquer the impregnable stronghold by members of the English expedition ended in a disastrous ending.
To this day, Kailash remains an unconquered mountain peak, which is enveloped in an aura of mystery. And unexplained incidents will excite the human imagination for many years to come.
