Phuket is good shopping, prices for accommodation are quite high for Thailand, an excellent excursion program and a vibrant nightlife, it is worth going here with a youth company for an active holiday or for a leisurely vacation with your family. But in the latter case, it is very important to choose the hotel and the beach well.
A real island vacation on Koh Samui
Koh Samui is a relatively small island in the Gulf of Thailand. You can go around it around the perimeter in just a few hours, and in the interior of the island there is practically no tourist infrastructure, all hotels, shops, bars and restaurants are located in the coastal zone of the island.
On Koh Samui, it will definitely appeal to beach lovers, supporters of silence and romantic privacy. However, active party-goers will surely get bored here.
Vacation on Koh Samui will turn out to be measured and calm, from the main local entertainment - shopping and beach holidays, you can also make several excursions to nearby islands or local temples. Accommodation here is offered mostly in small beach bungalow houses, which is especially good for romantic couples.
