The long-awaited vacation that you have dreamed of has arrived. Vouchers to the seaside resort have been bought, things have been collected. In southern countries, the sun is much stronger, and you can get a thermal burn of the skin very quickly there. Therefore, sunbathe carefully! On the first day of your stay at the resort, try to be in direct sunlight for no more than 5 minutes, the rest of the time be in the shade, for example, under an awning. Start gradually increasing your tanning time from the next day.

Sunbathe either in the morning or in the afternoon, when the sun has already begun to tilt towards the horizon. Never sunbathe during the hottest period of the day! Take an example from the locals, who, although accustomed to the local climate, try not to go out at this time unless absolutely necessary. You've probably heard the word "siesta".

Be sure to cover your head with a wide-brimmed straw hat, a cap with a visor, a kerchief, a panama hat. Almost any headgear is suitable, as long as it is light and comfortable, preferably made from natural materials that allow air to pass through well. Try to wear sunglasses.

Be very moderate in your alcohol intake. Understandably, once on a hot beach, people dream of a cold beer or cocktail. However, alcohol dulls sensitivities, and you can easily miss the moment when you need to leave the open space in the shade. As a result, you will get a sunburn and a lot of discomfort. Try to quench your thirst with soft drinks: mineral water, unsweetened juices.

Be sure to use sunscreens, gels. If you have sensitive skin, especially if you are fair-skinned and fair-haired, use a high SPF cream. If you are dark skinned, you can use a cream with a lower SPF level. Remember that a new portion of the cream must be rubbed into the skin no later than 4-5 hours after applying the previous portion. And if you did go swimming, apply a new dose as soon as you get out of the water and dry a little. Try to be especially careful to protect those parts of the body that are exposed to the most intense sun exposure.

As you can see, there is absolutely nothing difficult. By following these rules, you will get a luxurious southern tan, and your vacation will not be overshadowed by malaise and unpleasant painful sensations.
