Many citizens of the CIS now have the opportunity to go on vacation or to work abroad. However, the acquisition of a Polish transit visa is now clearly not enough for Ukrainian citizens to confirm their right to travel to Europe.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the following documents: - a certified photocopy of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine (1, 2 pages and registration); - a certified photocopy of the identification number; - original passport (valid for at least another six months); - 1 photo 3, 5 × 4, 5 cm (at least 75% of the face area); - certificate from the place of work (indicating the position and salary); - certificate from the bank about the availability of sufficient funds on the account for the trip (at the rate of € 50 for one day) or traveler's checks. if you are going to open a work or visitor visa, you will need to obtain a police clearance certificate from your local UMVS office.
Step 2
In addition, for a tourist trip, you will need documents confirming the hotel reservation (or a voucher); for a business or work trip - an invitation from a business partner or employer abroad, and for a private visit - a guest invitation.
Step 3
Any invitation must contain the details of the invited party and the invited person, the purpose and timing of the visit (with single, double or multiple entries). If the invitation is official, then you will need to attach a certified copy of the contract and statutory documents (yours, if any, and your partner or employer). If the invitation was received by you from a private person, attach certified copies of documents confirming family relations.
Step 4
Get medical insurance for your trip to Europe. If you are traveling on a tour, the company will take care of this. The insurance must be at least € 30,000.
Step 5
Contact the embassy or consulate of the country from which you will begin your trip to Europe (or the one from which the invitation came), fill out an application form, indicating only reliable information in it, including a contact phone number. Attach all documents prepared by you to the questionnaire. Within 10 days, you will be called on the phone number indicated in the questionnaire and informed about the decision. You can get a refusal if: - the information provided by you turned out to be inaccurate; - the quota for foreign specialists (for a work visa) was exceeded; - you had violations of the visa regime earlier.
