Italy is one of the easiest Schengen countries to issue visas to Russian citizens. If you already have one or two Italian visas, then there is a great chance of getting a multiple-entry visa valid for six months or more. The first is whether you have a visa or not, you need to approach the collection of documents carefully.
Instructions
Step 1
Passport valid for at least 3 months after the end of your requested visa. It is important that it contains at least one blank page for pasting a visa and affixing border stamps (for a consulate in St. Petersburg, you need three pages). Make a copy of the first page of your passport with personal data and attach it. If you have children registered in your passport, then make a copy and pages about children as well.
Step 2
If you have Schengen visas, as well as US, Canadian or Australian visas, make copies of them and attach them too. This is not required, but increases your chances of obtaining visas as it demonstrates a good visa history.
Step 3
Visa application form completed in English or Italian. The application form must be signed. It is allowed to fill in either on a computer or by hand; in the latter case, you need to write in block capital letters, very legibly, avoiding blots or corrections. For each of the applicants, a separate questionnaire is filled out, including for children entered in the parents' passport. Glue a 3, 5 x 4, 5 cm photo to the application form, the photo must be fresh and on a light background.
Step 4
Confirmation of the purposes of stay in the country. This can be a hotel reservation, a travel voucher, an invitation from a private person (if you are on a private visit) or from an organization (if you are traveling on a business trip). If you own real estate in the country or rent it, then you need to attach documents proving this.
Step 5
Round trip tickets. You can attach printouts of e-ticket reservations from websites or copies of original tickets available on hand.
Step 6
Medical insurance policy, which is valid on the territory of all countries that have signed the Schengen agreement. The amount of compensation must be at least 30 thousand euros.
Step 7
Certificate from the place of work (original and photocopy) on letterhead, indicating the position and salary, contact details of the management, certified by the seal and signed. Individual entrepreneurs must show a copy of the registration certificate, as well as a copy of the tax registration document, extracts from the USRIP and from the company's bank account.
Step 8
Those who do not work need to prove their current employment (pensioners must attach a copy of their pension certificate, and students - a certificate from the place of study). You also need to make a sponsorship letter from a close relative who agrees to take on all your expenses. Documents confirming the financial position (certificate from work and from the bank) must be made in his name.
Step 9
An extract from the bank account, the funds on which will be enough for the entire period of stay in France (you need to count 50-70 euros for each day of stay). Instead of an extract, you can show a tax return or a certificate in the form of 2-NDFL.
