Apply for citizenship of one of the countries that have recently become part of the European Union (or are planning to join it in the coming years). These are states such as Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and a number of others. Obtaining citizenship in these countries gives you the right to legal residence and the opportunity to work in France, as well as in any other country of the European Union. It will take you only a year to complete the relevant documents.

Get your education at a French university. Foreigners are eligible to apply for the status of a French citizen after five years of permanent residence in France, but this period is reduced to two years for those who graduated from a higher education institution in that country.
