Lisbon is definitely a city worth seeing. Once it was the capital of a great maritime power, now it is a very calm city with a unique atmosphere. Even if you only stay here for two or three days, there is a lot to see.

Tram number 28
Probably the best way to start your acquaintance with the city is to take a ride on the famous yellow tram through its historical part. You can catch the tram at Martin Moniz Square.

The castle is located on a hill and is visible from almost anywhere in the city.

This is the main square of the city, facing the embankment.

It is a miniature copy of a statue in Rio de Janeiro. It is clearly visible from the embankment, but you can also look at it up close by crossing the bridge.

Belem district
The old part of the city, located at some distance from the center. You can get from the center by tram number 18. It is better to allocate half a day on Belen, or even a whole day, because there are a lot of interesting things here. First of all, it is a huge and very beautiful monastery, as well as a monument to the discoverers, a tower, and a park.
Step 7
Be sure to stop by the old pastry shop "Pasteis de Belém" for a taste of paste, a traditional Portuguese dessert.

This famous bridge is one of the longest in Europe and is similar to the one in San Francisco.

Old city districts: Baixa, Anhos, Barrio Alto
Be sure to take some time to walk through the old districts, admire the view of the Tagus River, and walk along the incredibly narrow streets.
