Anyone who uses Aeroflot's services can receive an Aeroflot Bonus card. The card is received by mail after registration in the Aeroflot Bonus program and filling out the application form.
Aeroflot issues temporary and permanent Aeroflot Bonus cards as part of the bonus program, the task of which is to maintain the loyalty of the airline's customers. Cardholders receive bonus points or "miles" for each flight made by the airline.
Who can receive an Aeroflot Bonus card and how
Any Aeroflot client can become a cardholder by filling out a paper questionnaire on board the aircraft or an electronic questionnaire on the company's website. To gain access to the electronic questionnaire, you need to register in the Aeroflot Bonus program, consent to the processing of your personal data and then fill in all the fields of the application form. You will need to indicate the address of residence and e-mail, last name, first name, patronymic and contact information.
A letter from Aeroflot with a permanent plastic card enclosed in it arrives within two weeks after sending the request. You do not need to pay for the card issue, but you can use it immediately after receiving it. It will be useful even for those who rarely fly: after all, miles on the map are constantly accumulating and sooner or later may come in handy.
Using the Aeroflot Bonus card
Miles are credited every time a passenger flies on an Aeroflot flight. The most important thing is not to forget to indicate the card number when purchasing a ticket through a regular ticket office or the Internet. If this has not been done, the number can be entered during check-in for the flight or even after the flight: for this, a special form is filled out on the company's website, and flight documentation is sent by mail.
The number of miles accrued depends primarily on the direction of the flight and on the "booking class". Some destinations earn much more award miles. The higher the booking class, the more expensive the ticket is, so a Business Class passenger will always receive more miles than an Economy Class passenger on the same flight.
Additional miles can be earned using plastic cards of Aeroflot partner banks. These banks are Sberbank, Alfa-Bank and Russian Standard. By paying for purchases using special cards of these banks, the client receives 1 mile for every dollar spent.
The accumulated miles can be spent on an award (free) flight or on an upgrade. Bonus points also allow you to take 1-2 excess baggage pieces with you absolutely free.
