Parnassus is a mountain range stretching from northwest to southeast along the Peloponnese peninsula. The chain reaches the Corinthian Sea, on this site there are two highest points - the mountains of Typhorea and Likorea (Liokura). According to Greek mythology, these Parnassian mountains are considered the habitat of the muses.

Step 1
Get to the nearest settlement located at the foot of Mount Parnassus. This is the mountain village of Arachova, where you can stay in small hotels. The winter path to Parnassus has become more lively due to the fact that the ski resorts of Fterolaka and Kelaria have opened on the mountain slopes.
Step 2
Try the shortest way to the mountain: from Athens by car to Arachova about 190 km (2.5 hours). Aeroflot operates direct flights to Athens (travel time - 3.5 hours), with a transfer - Aerosvit, Turkish Airlines, Swiss. Do not forget that to board the plane you will need a passport and an open visa from the Schengen countries. Obtain a visa to Greece by contacting the consular section of the Embassy and providing confirmation of your hotel reservation and copies of air tickets.
Step 3
Rent a car at Athens Venizelos International Airport. Here you can use the international car rental services Avis, Hertz, Sixt. These services have offices in Moscow, and you can contact one of them before the trip and arrange a rental in advance. In addition, you can book a car in advance using the online booking systems.
Step 4
Find the Athens-Lamia highway at the airport exit. Most of the route (100 km) will take this road, then exit the highway to the right, exit at Kastro, follow this road towards Delphi, passing Orchomenos and Livadia. Focus on Livadia, which is 30 km from Arachova.
