Tour operators today provide tremendous opportunities for travel enthusiasts. And even those who do not have a lot of money for vacation have the opportunity to go to the country of their dreams with the help of a “burning” tour.
Most travelers using tour operators receive a standard travel package. It necessarily includes flight, hotel accommodation, meals in it, transfer (delivery from the airport and back, sometimes also a bus to the beach) and compulsory medical insurance. When ordering a package, tourists have the right to choose a hotel category, a food system (breakfasts, breakfast and dinner, "all inclusive").
But in addition to standard packages, the company can offer so-called "last minute" vouchers. Tour operators set prices for the package depending on their appetites: someone pledges a profit of one hundred percent, and someone even three hundred percent. But it happens that their hopes are not met, and the offer does not find its buyers. In this case, some of the vouchers remain unbought, and each of them is a loss of money spent by the operator. In order to reduce financial losses, firms are left with only one option - lowering the supply price.
The decrease in the cost of the travel package begins gradually. Two weeks before departure, five percent, a week - twenty, two or three days - for all sixty to seventy.
Thus, the closer the day of purchase is to the departure date, the lower the price. Not all operators lower the price even a week before departure. They wait until the last that the consumer will find himself. And only two or three days before the charter takes off into the sky, the price is lowered so much that for the sake of such a benefit travelers take time off from work and pack their things in a matter of hours.
"Last minute" tours have their own characteristics. Due to the fact that packages become "last minute" only a few days before departure, the list of countries to which you can fly is significantly reduced. After all, there is no time to apply for a visa, so keep in mind that only those tours that deliver travelers to visa-free countries are on the list.
Discount packages don't let their shoppers get fussy. The choice of the hotel and its category is not great, because only certain not sold out offers are on the list. By the way, hotels with five stars "burn" extremely rarely. As a result, those people who are unpretentious in their choice, are ready to go to any country for the opportunity to save on a ticket, become the buyers of "last minute" tours. Usually these are those who unexpectedly get a vacation or simply do not have the funds for a standard package.
