Instructions
Step 1
First, visit the official website of the Mexican Embassy and register on it. Next, you will need to log in with your username and password and fill out the form. Please note: the questionnaire must be completed within 10 minutes, so please answer as soon as possible. Remember also that all data must be entered in Latin letters.
Step 2
Submit your completed questionnaire and then print it out. After a while, a letter will come to the e-mail you specified during registration. It will contain the date and time when you should appear at the consulate to obtain a visa. However, it is important to know that the letter indicates the Mexican time. Mexico City's time zone is UTC-5 in summer and UTC-6 in winter. Change the time indicated in the letter to Moscow time, and then call the consulate and ask if you made an appointment. The fact is that in the event of a failure, the system can ignore your request.
Step 3
Collect the required package of documents. You will need a passport; photocopies of all valid visas, if you have them; completed and printed form; two color photographs 3x4 cm; photocopies of previously obtained Mexican visas, if any. You will also need proof that you have sufficient funds to travel. For example, you can take a bank statement, certificates for the purchase of securities, documents for real estate, a certificate from the place of work with an indication of the salary, etc. Schoolchildren, non-working retirees and students are also required to present a certificate of employment or a bank statement from the person who finances the trip. Pensioners show a copy of their pension certificate, students - a student card, schoolchildren - a certificate from the school.
Step 4
Come to the consulate on the specified date. If the consular officer does not have any questions regarding your documents, he will scan your fingerprints and inform you when you can pick up your visa. As a rule, it takes 2-3 days for registration.
